CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS AT LIMERICK RACECOURSE

The new Limerick Racecourse at Greenmount Park, just five miles from Limerick City Centre is historically noted to be the first new racecourse to be built in Ireland for over half a century.
It is deigned to accommodate the most demanding of Corporate Events from Exhibitions and Product Launches to conferencing, training and syndicate work.

GROUND FLOOR
Licensed for 2000 people, the Tote Hall is versatile enough for dinners, theatre style conferencing, staging and exhibition events, together with 6 access points, plus fully fixed catering facilities including bars and kitchen

FIRST FLOOR
Fitted with a self-service cafeteria facility, marmoleum flooring to 50% of the floor space which lends itself to technical layouts and production, together with a carpeted furnished reception and bar area. There is also an external viewing terrace for summertime receptions.

ARRIVAL

Flame torches will guide the way to the venue entrance where your guests will enjoy a myriad of street entertainment including Fire breathers, Stilt Walkers, Jugglers and mime artists.

Ovation hosts will be on hand to receive guests and lead them to the party venue.

The venue will be divided into two party zones with an eye-catching transformation of each level. A live band & DJ will ensure a wide variety of musical choice to suit all tastes.

A NIGHT AT THE OSCARS

Tonight, your guests are the stars of the show!
As your guests make their way down the red-carpeted steps our ever-eager Paparazzi photographers are jostling for position as they try to get the best shots and scoops! Guests are encouraged to dress up as famous Stars of stage and screen for the night and prizes will be awarded for Best Actor, Best Film, Best Supporting Actress……

The Ground Floor level will be spectacularly transformed with Giant Oscar Statues, the infamous MGM backdrop and a glittering array of tastefully decorated tables complete with custom designed centrepieces.
Giant movie clapperboards, live size statues of Marilyn Monroe, Humphrey Bogart & Charlie Chaplin, Film reels and an array of props and paraphernalia will enhance the movie theme. A post show party will ensue with live music from one of Ireland's top disco bands and the tunes from today and yesteryear will be spun by our resident DJ.

WINTER WONDERLAND

Step into a Winter Wonderland at Limerick Racecourse's first level party zone as guests are treated to traditional Carol Singing from a local School/Church Choir.
Giant Christmas trees smothered in white pea lights, tables decorated in festive coloured linen, a snow machine and colourful balloon bouquets will set the atmosphere for this traditional Christmas party.
No Christmas party would be complete without a visit from our roller-skating Santa Claus ably assisted by his helpers.
Our DJ will play all your favourite Christmas tunes as famous Christmas movies are relayed on our video wall.
After dinner, it's time for the real party to begin as one of Ireland's colourful tribute bands take to the stage.
Our DJ will keep the party moving right into the wee hours before guests go on their merry way!

Our DJ's have played to in excess of 28,000 party people at the National Showcentre, RDS & Limerick Racecourse and various party venues during Christmas 2001. They are widely recognized as Ireland's finest disco/club entertainers.
With a wide and varied set catering for all musical tastes they are sure guaranteed to keep the party swinging into the early hours.

LIGHTING DESIGN
Lighting will be produced by one of the world's leading lighting designers.
Kevin Saunders is renowned from his work on a multitude of National & International Shows including the visual spectacle that is Riverdance.
State of the art lighting will create a party place fit for the 21st Century.

SOUND DESIGN
Mikam Sound will provide audio facilities.
The sound design includes the following:

Mikam Sound is Ireland's leading sound specialist with Riverdance, Bolshoi Ballet & Eurovision among their credits. Under the expert guidance of Paul Aungier, a state of the art audio visual feast will ensue.

CATERING AND BARS
"An excellent Choice" - the designated catering vendor of the venue, will manage all catering and bar requirements.

With their many years experience in corporate catering, we can be assured of excellent service and standards.

The catering for the evening will be a two-course fork buffet freshly prepared on the premises and designed to give you the extra flexible for dining during the course of events, anytime between 8 and 10pm. All usual dietary requirements will be catered for on request and a choice of deluxe wines, reception drinks and drinks vouchers can also be arranged to suit your own party and budget.

Prices for the evening are Euro 49.50 inclusive of Vat and are subject to a minimum of 50 guests attending and are subject to the appropriate terms and conditions.

Bookings can only be accepted on receipt of a signed agreement and deposit of Euro 10.00 per person

A second payment of the balance total fee must be received by 1 December 2002.

Should the booking form and first payment not be received within seven days the booking will automatically be released.

Due to the amount of advance preparation for these events, all payments are non-refundable

The Limerick Racecourse reserves the right to refuse admission, and to remove from the function nay person, whose condition in the opinion of the staff of The Limerick Racecourse, interferes, or is likely to interfere with the enjoyment of the function by other guests.

The Limerick Racecourse will take every care to honour commitments, but reserves the right to amend or alter all or part of the programme of the Christmas Parties and regret that they will not accept liability for errors, omissions or cancellations.
